Location

Our Brazil kite adventure takes place on the stunning north coast of Brazil, in Preá, just outside of Jericoacoara. The closest airport is Jericoacoara Airport, only a quick 20-minute drive from our home base at Preá Kite House. You can also fly into Fortaleza, which is about a four-hour drive—but it’s an easy, scenic journey that flies by. We help organize transportation, making the entire process smooth, safe, and stress-free.

We’re located right on the beach, with direct access to one of the best kite regions in the world. Each day, we head out on downwinders and explore different iconic spots along the coastline. With strong daily winds often around 25 mph or more, conditions are ideal for both progression and adventure. We recommend bringing two kites—typically a 7m and a 9m (a 10m can also work depending on your preference).

Kiting in northern Brazil is a unique experience—warm water, endless beaches, and no wetsuit required. You’ll be riding in a swimsuit, surrounded by dunes, lagoons, and incredible scenery.

What a Day Looks Like

Days start around 8:30–9:00 a.m., with coffee available anytime. We gather for breakfast, set intentions, and go over the plan for the day before heading into our session or daily adventure.

You’ll have both a morning and afternoon session, with personalized coaching from two professional coaches—focused on exactly what you want to improve. Some days we ride right out front, while others take us on downwinders or to new locations along the coast.

After a full day on the water, you can unwind with a massage, relax by the pool, or simply recharge. Evenings begin around 6 p.m. as we head out for dinner, followed by time to connect, share stories, review the day, and enjoy the group energy.

The Food

Food is a big part of the experience. Each morning starts with a fresh breakfast buffet, and dinners are hosted at a variety of popular local restaurants where you can order anything you like from the menu.

Lunch is lighter—we provide snacks, fruits, and drinks during our daily excursions to keep you fueled throughout the day. You’re also welcome to pack additional snacks from breakfast if you’d like something more substantial.

The Accommodation

We stay at Preá Kite House, a luxury, women-owned beachfront property we’ve partnered with before—and absolutely love. It offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and community, with beautiful spaces to relax and recharge after your sessions.
