Hood River Wing Foil Clinics

The Location

Our wing foil clinic takes place in Hood River, Oregon—one of the most iconic wind sports destinations in the world. Set along the Columbia River Gorge, Hood River is known for its strong daily winds, beautiful scenery, and vibrant outdoor community. This is a two-day, weekend clinic designed to fully immerse you in wing-foiling, whether you’re just getting started or ready to level up your skills.

The Conditions

We ride in conditions that are ideal for learning, with plenty of wind each day and access to a variety of spots that allow us to choose the best environment for your progression. This clinic is perfect for beginners who want a strong, confident start, as well as intermediate riders working on getting up on foil, improving consistency, or learning transitions like tacks and jibes. With a small group, jet-ski support and two professional coaches, you’ll get personalized attention, real feedback, and the support you need to progress quickly.

The Gear

All gear is included, so you can show up and focus entirely on learning. We’re fully supported by Duotone and ION, providing high-quality equipment and an ION goodie bag valued at $120 for each participant. Jet ski support is also included, giving you a safe, efficient, and confidence-boosting learning environment on the water.

The Food

Food is simple and taken care of so you can stay fueled and focused. Lunch is included both days, and one group dinner is included during the weekend—giving us a chance to connect, share experiences, and celebrate progress together.

The Schedule

A typical day starts at 9:00 a.m. with introductions, a quick check-in on goals, and a breakdown of the plan for the day. We begin with a warm-up to get your body ready, then head to the water, set up gear, and review key fundamentals before your first session. After a focused morning on the water, we break for lunch, then head back out for a second session where you’ll continue building skills and confidence. At the end of the day, we wrap up, head to dinner, and review what you learned so you can lock it in and come back even stronger the next day.

This clinic is all about learning in a supportive, fun, and empowering environment. You’ll progress faster, build confidence, and connect with like-minded peeps.
